Brian represents clients in a wide variety of commercial transactions, including corporate structuring, finance, joint ventures, corporate compliance, and general corporate law. He advises companies in all stages of development and growth.

Some of Brian’s representative transactions include:

• Representing The Walt Disney Company in its $4 billion acquisition of Marvel Entertainment, Inc.
• Representing Washington Real Estate Investment Trust in its public debt and equity offerings
• Representing a public Fortune 400 company in its acquisition of a private institutional pharmacy provider
• Representing a public pharmaceuticals and healthcare facilities company in its corporate restructuring of a newly acquired subsidiary group
• Representing an energy company in its partnership with, and equity investment by, an investment bank

Prior to joining Arent Fox, Brian was an associate at a prominent international law firm in both the New York, NY and Washington, DC offices.

Brian is involved with the University of Virginia (UVA) Club of Washington and has previously served on the board of directors for the University of Virginia Club of New York. He was also a past member on the Committee on Diversity for the New York State Bar Association and the past co-chair for the Young Lawyers Committee, Asian American Bar Association of New York.

Brian was a Hardy Cross Dillard Fellow while studying at the University of Virginia School of Law.

When not working, Brian enjoys both running and playing tennis. He is a huge UVA sports fan and was the president of the Student Bar Association in law school.
