Antitrust and Trade Regulation

• Defending Munich Re against Sherman Act and RICO claims in a multidistrict class action
• Defended Omnicare against Sherman Act and California Section 17200 claims brought on behalf of a class of nursing home residents
• Defended a Russian mining company against cartel claims brought on behalf of classes of direct and indirect purchases of potash
• Defended the nation’s leading supplier of anesthesiology services against claims under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act and Section 7 of the Clayton Act
• Defended a major pharmaceutical manufacturer in a landmark Sherman Act jury trial
• Defended a major generic pharmaceutical manufacturer in an FTC investigation and multidistrict antitrust litigation arising out of a so-called “reverse payment” settlement of a Hatch-Waxman Act patent dispute
• Represented a food distributor as plaintiff in the trial of Robinson-Patman Act claims
• Defended a supplier of in-flight entertainment systems in a Sherman Act Section 2 case
• Defended one of the world’s leading energy companies in private lawsuits arising out of a European Commission cartel investigation

General Commercial Litigation

• Defended New York Racing Association (NYRA) in federal and New York state courts against challenges by professional jockey agents to NYRA’s rule for jockey representation
• Represented the National Football League (NFL) Players Association and NFL Players Inc. in connection with commercial licensing of retired professional football players' intellectual property

Domestic and International Arbitration

• Represented a large international telecommunications company and its subsidiaries in several International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) arbitrations seated in Paris and London
• Represented a major consulting company in an American Arbitration Association (AAA) arbitration arising out of a complex computer project

Prior to joining Arent Fox, Eamon was a partner at a prominent New York law firm. He has also held senior business positions at Allied Irish Bank and Irish America magazine.

Eamon is a member of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association, and serves on the editorial board of the ABA’s State Antitrust Practice and Statutes treatise, fifth edition. He also serves on the executive committee of the Antitrust Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Eamon has also been recognized as a leading antitrust attorney by Chambers USA.
