Arent Fox’s Jon Bouker and Keith Styles, partners in the firm’s public buildings practice, will be participating in the February 23 forum “GSA Downsizing – A Perfect Storm Looming” to be held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The District of Columbia Building Industry Association forum will be moderated by Jon, with Keith serving on a panel that will include Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton of the U.S. House of Representatives, Robert Peck – Commissioner of Public Buildings for GSA, Mitchell Schear – President of Vornado/Charles E. Smith, and Darian LeBlanc – Senior Managing Director of the Government Services Group at Cassidy Turley. The forum will cover how the federal government deals with debt ceilings and debt reduction, and what will be the impact of GSA cost cutting initiatives on the local real estate and construction industries, among additional topics.
