Arent Fox partner Jule Rousseau and associate James Westerlind were published in the March 22, 2102 edition of Insurance Law 360.

In the article, titled,  “Good Grief: 'Good Faith' May Not Fly As Readily In Fla.,” Jule and James analyze the impact of the jury's verdict in favor of the plaintiff trust in Sciarretta v. The Lincoln National Life Insurance Co.  Jule and James, who successfully represented the plaintiff trust in the suit, write that the jury’s verdict suggests “that even in Florida, the one state where carriers have been successful in achieving the ‘good faith’ standard, a careful defense that focuses on carrier knowledge and failure to seek rescissions may yet prove not as troublesome to the life settlement market as originally feared.
