Karen Vladeck is an associate in the Commercial Litigation group. She represents a wide variety of clients in mediations, arbitrations, agency proceedings and state and federal court litigation. A focus of her practice is on the representation of clients in diverse and complex labor and employment law matters. This representation includes advising employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, discipline and discharge decisions, handbook and policy development, and medical leave and disability issues. She defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation and a host of other employment-related claims. In addition, Karen has experience in a large number of complex commercial matters, including public accommodation and fair housing litigation, breach of contract, and trade secret law. Karen has worked with clients in numerous industries, including real estate, parking, hospitality, sports, television, and fashion and luxury goods.
