Kristi has prosecuted numerous domestic and foreign patent applications in chemical, pharmaceutical, mechanical, electromechanical, financial products and software-related areas, including semiconductor processing equipment, ultrahigh vacuum pumps, gas and liquid abatement devices and systems, chemical metrology equipment and systems, biochemical mass labels, therapeutic peptides and other organic compounds for treating diseases, material design and treatment articles and processes, and financial services software and business methods. She also counsels clients on portfolio management, enforcement, and strategies. In addition, Kristi has prosecuted numerous US and foreign design patent applications directed to jewelry articles, drafted several opinions and supported numerous litigations.

Kristi counsels clients on transactional matters including due diligence and asset purchase, licensing, joint development, website user, co-existence and non-disclosure agreements.  Kristi also counsels clients on domestic and international trademark availability and coordinates trademark filing programs. Similarly, she counsels clients on strategies for copyright protection and ownership. 

Prior to joining Arent Fox, Kristi was a patent attorney in the New York office of another prominent law firm.

Kristi’s family keeps her busy with visits to the park, music, cooking, and parenting. Kristi also enjoys running and weight-lifting and takes various dance classes whenever she can. As a diversion from reading patents and legal texts, Kristi also participates in a book club.
