Senator Byron Dorgan, a senior policy advisor in the Government Relations practice at Arent Fox, was interviewed, along with former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, by E&ETV’s Monica Trauzzi to talk about how the President Obama and his administration can lead effectively on energy policy and strategy.

In particular, Sen. Dorgan, who serves as co-chair of the Bipartisan Policy Center with Sen. Lott, discussed a new blueprint for energy reform and efforts to encourage the president to establish a cross-agency energy council. He explained that, “In January we’re going to introduce a much larger set of recommendations that are bipartisan as a result of nearly two years of work. It says here’s where we think bipartisan agreement can be reached in Congress on big and significant energy policies that will advance the country’s interest.”
