Alfredo De La Cruz
Alfredo’s practice focuses on a wide variety of commercial transactions, including corporate structuring, finance, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset sales, corporate compliance, and general corporate law, as well as technology transactions, including negotiating and drafting licensing, software, service, and other technology-related agreements.
Alfredo frequently advises clients on corporate matters in the sports, retail, fashion, and entertainment industries. He also routinely works with nonprofit organizations, advising on formation, compliance, and operational matters.
Alfredo, as a United States Army veteran, is proud to join AFVets along with other active, reserve, former, and retired military and uniformed service employees. The goal of AFVets is to create and foster awareness and community for Arent Fox’s military and uniformed service employees by concentrating on issues specific to those who are or have been in service, while applying that experience to serving clients with similar military backgrounds.
Alfredo was a summer associate at Arent Fox. Prior to joining Arent Fox, Alfredo was a Legal Intern at the US Securities and Exchange Commission and a Judicial Intern for Judge Reggie B. Walton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Alfredo also served as a Sergeant in the United States Army from February 2011 – February 2014.
Life Beyond the Law
Alfredo likes to give back to his community by doing motivation talks at high schools in the DMV area. He likes to live a balanced and active lifestyle.
