Anet Castro Drapalski
Anet’s practice primarily focuses on defending employers against a wide range of employment law claims, including disability, race, age, and gender discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and unlawful termination of employment. Anet also defends employers against multi and single plaintiff wage and hour claims.
Anet’s practice also consists of pre-litigation and preventative counseling of employer clients, including updating and providing advice regarding the status of changing laws, sound personnel policies, and compliance with workplace regulations.
In addition, Anet handles a diverse range of insurance claims, including extra-contractual litigation and coverage advice. Anet has litigated actions involving Commercial General Liability, Professional Liability, Directors & Officers, Errors & Omissions, and Multi Media policies.
Anet is a native Spanish speaker.
Prior to joining Arent Fox, Anet was an Associate at an international law firm. As a law student, Anet served as a clerk to Professor Erwin Chemerinsky.
Life Beyond the Law
On her free time, Anet enjoys practicing yoga, playing board games with her husband, and spin. She is an avid soccer fan and follows La Liga closely.
Anet was born in Jalisco, Mexico and lived there until she was seven years old. She can read, write, and speak Spanish fluently.
Anet volunteers her time with Public Counsel aiding unaccompanied minors obtain Asylum.
