Christine E. Hintze
Christine’s practice is focused on customs and international trade law. Ms. Hintze has experience with classification of merchandise under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, country of origin determinations, free trade agreements, bonded warehouses, and valuation issues including first sale and reconciliation. Christine also has extensive experience with trade policy issues, such as the Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum and the Section 301 tariffs on imports from China and the EU. She has assisted with compliance on federal and state regulations including the Fish and Wildlife Service’s administration of programs relating to protected species and the Office of Foreign Assets Control sanction list.
Prior to joining Arent Fox, Christine was an Associate at an international boutique law firm dedicated to the Customs and Trade practice.
