Garland W. Gantt, III
Garland represents national banks, regional and local commercial banks, and capital market lenders in the acquisition, construction, and financing of residential and commercial real estate properties.
Prior to joining Arent Fox, Garland was an associate at a large national law firm, where he was responsible for all aspects of closing real estate financing transactions. Garland’s clients included commercial banks, community development financial institutions (CDFIs), and other commercial lenders. Garland has represented commercial lenders in construction and permanent finance transactions involving affordable housing, charter schools, and senior housing facilities.
Garland returns to his law school to teach a mortgage financing class every year. He also mentors Howard University School of Law students for success after law school.
