Michael represents lenders in the real estate aspects of secured bank and bond financings.
Michael's recent representations have included:
- Representing lenders in: (i) acquisition financing and refinancing of commercial and large residential real properties; (ii) low-income Section 8 multi-family housing facilities (iii) acquisition, building and project loan mortgages for mixed-use development projects
- Title review and issue resolution
Prior to joining Arent Fox, Michael worked at a large Wall Street firm representing investment banks in real estate aspects of secured bank and bond financings (including first, second and third lien lenders in 17-state, 900+ property acquisition and refinancing). He was also a Post Graduate Fellow at the New York City Law Department in the Special Litigation Unit. In addition, Michael previously worked as the Chief Operating Officer at a commercial and investment real property company.
