    Richard Brand Talks Media Convergence in Sports at PLI’s Technotainment 2016

    Sports practice group leader and San Francisco Managing Partner Richard Brand will discuss “Media Convergence in Sports” with fellow speaker Phillip Gharabegian, Fox Sports, at PLI’s "Technotainment" 2016: Distributing Content Across Multiple Platforms conference in New York City. The presentation will focus on developments and issues pertaining to the continued and accelerating movement of sports from traditional media to the new media, including content that is easily accessible via many different forms of digital media; new platforms, such as websites, social media, and apps; and other media platforms. This presentation will also discuss the effect that media convergence has had (and will continue to have) on the sports business industry's continued growth and financial success.
