    Arent Fox Adds Leading Technology Law Partner in New York

    New York NY — Arent Fox LLP is pleased to announce the addition of highly-regarded technology transactions and IP attorney William A. Tanenbaum as a partner in its New York office. Mr. Tanenbaum joins the Corporate & Securities practice from Kaye Scholer LLP, where he was head of the firm’s IP & Technology Transactions group and the Green Tech & Sustainability group. His leading technology practice focuses on transactions, litigation, and strategic counseling in the intellectual property, technology, outsourcing, health care, and cybersecurity sectors.

    Mr. Tanenbaum will help spearhead the firm’s new Technology Transactions group. His practice focuses on IT transactions, IP transactions, health care, outsourcing, cybersecurity, data-driven business, and the IP and technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions. Mr. Tanenbaum routinely advises companies in a range of industries on the use of Big Data, data protection technology, and cloud and mobile computing and integrating them into existing IT systems and business processes for competitive advantage, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.

Earlier this year, he was appointed to the exclusive, invitation-only “List of the World’s Leading Technology Neutrals,” which is administered by the Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center. He is a past president of the International Technology Law Association and serves as a vice president of the New York Chapter of the Society for Information Management, an industry CIO association.
