Arent Fox Represents Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits in Acquisition of 50 Percent Stake in Bellacosa Wine

WASHINGTON, DC — Arent Fox announced today that it advised Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits in its acquisition of a 50 percent stake in Bellacosa, a California cabernet sauvignon founded by wine entrepreneur Dan Cohn.

Bellacosa is the latest in a series of premier wine and spirits acquisitions and investments by Deutsch for which Arent Fox has provided M&A, intellectual property, and alcoholic beverage regulatory advice. Other recent investments include Deutsch’s purchase of the Redemption Whiskey portfolio and the “Masterson’s Rye” and “Bib & Tucker” whiskey brands.
