Sarah Bruno Named Top Trademark Attorney by Daily Journal
Arent Fox LLP is pleased to announce the selection of Partner Sarah L. Bruno to the Daily Journal's annual list of the "Top Intellectual Property Lawyers" in California.
Ms. Bruno is a leading partner in the Intellectual Property and Advertising & Promotions groups and chairs the Privacy, Cybersecurity & Data Protection practice. Her intellectual property work includes policing and enforcing client’s trademarks, copyrights, and publicity rights.
She also manages the intellectual property enforcement and outreach for several trade associations, including the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA). Her work in this area involves conducting educational seminars, counseling members on intellectual property, as well assisting members with the enforcement of their rights at trade shows around the world. Ms. Bruno is one of the primary attorneys responsible for protecting the name, persona, and trademark rights of Dr. Albert Einstein on a global level. As part of this work, Ms. Bruno has been involved in international and domestic litigation and settlement negotiations, domain acquisition, and retrieval and TTAB disputes.
Ms. Bruno's trademark work includes advising Honda Motor Company, Ltd. and Benefit Cosmetics LLC. In particular, she reviews marketing materials, product packaging, and client goals to determine the best strategy for protection.
The "Top Intellectual Property Lawyer" honor is the latest in a string of rankings Ms. Bruno has earned from the Daily Journal. She has previously been recognized as one of the twenty "Top Cyber/Artificial Intelligence Attorneys" in California in 2018 and a "Top Women Lawyer" in 2017. She is also recognized by Legal 500 as a top lawyer for her trademark work.
