Arent Fox Partner Mary Joanne Dowd will speak at the Associated General Contractors of America’s 2019 Conference on Surety Bonding and Construction Risk Management.

Mary Jo’s session, titled “Where and How Joint Check Agreements Can Go Awry,” will address how bankruptcy law can upset the expectations of the parties to a joint agreement, and how to mitigate that potential complication.
