Arent Fox Sports Practice Group Leader Rich Brand will be moderating two panels as part of the Los Angeles Sports Summit, “eSports 101 and 201: From the Basics to the Next Level” on June 24 and, “From Naming Rights to Gaming Rights: An Exploration of New Sports Revenue Generation” on June 25, 2019. Sports Partner Jennifer O’Sullivan will also serve as a panelist on the panel, “From Naming Rights to Gaming Rights: An Exploration of New Sports Revenue Generation.” The Summit is being held at the Omni Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.

The “eSports 101 and 201: From the Basics to the Next Level” panel will consist of a brief tutorial on eSports as an overview and a panel discussion with eSports experts who will explore the ideas and concepts introduced in the tutorial. “From Naming Rights to Gaming Rights: An Exploration of New Sports Revenue Generation” will discuss the different commercial models sports organizations use to generate revenue via sponsorships, naming rights, advertising, licensing, etc., and will explore how these revenue generators are evolving and becoming true fan-focused partnerships.

Rich is a member of the Board of the Los Angeles Sports Council and is part of the Summit Committee that is organizing this year’s conference.
