Brian’s session about the regulatory landscape and use of CBD in food products will address key labeling requirements and industry concerns around CBD in food, within the larger context of the long-term regulation of cannabis as an ingredient.
Emily will lead a session titled, “Legal Perspective: California’s Proposition 65 & Analysis of Current Litigation Trends,” in which she will examine recent Prop 65 litigation lawsuit trends and discuss the law’s future and its impact on the food labeling industry.
The conference is designed for food labeling executives who are focused on ensuring compliance with FDA requirements while advancing marketing and research and development interests. In addition to Brian and Emily, presenters will include Deputy Directors from USDA and quality assurance and labeling professionals from General Mills, Campbell Soup Company, The Kroger Co., and more.
