Health Care Partner Stephanie Trunk is teaching a Lawline course titled “What the Biden Administration Means for Drug Pricing, Coverage and Reimbursement” on April 12, 2021, at 3:30pm ET.

Stephanie will discuss the Biden Administration’s priorities in the area of drug pricing and how these differ from Trump-era efforts to reform drug pricing, coverage, and reimbursement, which were widely discussed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Particular areas of legislative focus include rules related to Medicaid, Medicare Part D, and the 340B Administrative Dispute Resolution process. Stephanie will analyze future regulations and policies and contemplate the future of bills such as H.R. 3- Lower Drug Costs Now Act and S. 2542- Prescription Drug Pricing Reduction Act, which had significant momentum in Congress before the pandemic and are likely to resurface.
