Aaron Jacoby Quoted in Automotive News on 2016 Automotive Litigation
Arent Fox Partner and Automotive Practice Group Leader Aaron Jacoby was quoted in a recent Automotive News article, “Automotive Cases to Watch in 2016.”
The article discusses several key cases automotive attorneys will be watching in the coming year, including Volkswagen emission litigation, GM ignition switch litigation, and others. Aaron commented on the ongoing multi-district litigation against Takata Corp. and 10 automakers over defective air bags and the related air bag recall, noting, "The whole recall crisis is going to continue to be an ongoing crisis." Aaron added that currently, there aren't airbags readily available to quickly fix all of the affected vehicles.
