Arent Fox Attorneys Selected to LCLD’s 2020 Training Programs
Associate Anne-Carmene Almonord was named a member of the 2020 class of Fellows, a one-year program that advances the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Associates Nadia Patel and Christopher K.S. Wong were selected to the 2020 Pathfinder Program, which provides high-potential, early-career attorneys with practical tools for developing and leveraging professional networks.
“LCLD’s Fellows and Pathfinders programs are helping future generations of diverse talent develop the tools they need for professional success,” said Arent Fox Director of Diversity & Inclusion Alison Bygrave. “AC, Nadia, and Chris have already demonstrated strong leadership skills, and we are excited that they have this opportunity with LCLD.”
Arent Fox has been a proud partner with LCLD for several years. Previous Fellows include Partners Lewis Goss II, Matthew R. Mills, and Eva J. Pulliam and Associate Alexander S. Birkhold.
As part of its mission statement, LCLD emphasizes working to promote inclusiveness in institutions, among circles of influence, and within our society, with the ultimate goal of building a more open and diverse legal profession. Since starting the LCLD Fellows program in 2011, the organization has trained more than 1,600 mid-career attorneys, helping to cultivate skillsets and professional networks to help in client development and leadership training. The Pathfinder program launched in 2015 and targets junior attorneys and younger members of corporate law departments.
