Arent Fox Attorneys Teach Graduate Business Course on Legal Aspects of Biotech

NEW YORK – Earlier this year, Yeshiva University’s Katz Graduate Business School introduced a new 36-credit Master of Science in Biotechnology Management and Entrepreneurship (BME) designed to prepare future business leaders in the life sciences to successfully navigate the complex process of launching new medical drugs, biologics, and devices into the marketplace.

The class is part of a curriculum on advanced topics in pharmacology, biologics, biodevices, clinical trials, biostatistics, and analytics, along with finance, marketing, intellectual property law, and new business development.

Guest lecturers for the course include Arent Fox attorneys Karen Ellis Carr, Alexander H. Spiegler, and Stephanie Trunk, as well as Rose and Associates, LLC Founder and President Lucy Rose, VP Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for Aquestive Therapeutics Rikin Mehta, Mount Sinai IRB Chair for the Program for the Protection of Human Subjects Ilene Wilets, and AgTech Accelerator Director of IP, Regulatory & Product Development Megan Lyman.
