Arent Fox Sponsors ChIPs Women in Tech, Law, & Policy Global Summit

WASHINGTON, DC - Four Arent Fox attorneys participated in the ChIPs’ Women in Tech, Law, & Policy Global Summit, which seeks to help women network and advance their careers in technology, law, and policy.

Arent Fox attorneys Janine Carlan, Tiffany Brooks Healy, Marylee Jenkins, and Yelee Kim participated in the event that took place October 17-19 in Washington, DC. Arent Fox was a Silver Sponsor for the summit and its commitment to mentorship, diversity, and advancement of women.

The summit kicked off with a special hall of fame dinner honoring former Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the US Patent and Trademark Office Michelle K. Lee. Featured sessions during the summit included a general counsel panel, cybersecurity panel, and a fireside chat with Former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates.

Founded in 2005 by seven women chiefs of intellectual property, ChIPs now has more than 2,000 members, including a large number of in-house counsel.
