Hunter Carter Discusses Equal Marriage in Chile
Partner Hunter Carter appeared in one of Chile’s largest circulation print publications, The Clinic, to discuss his fight against the Chilean government for not recognizing same-sex marriage. In his interview, Mr. Carter discussed his views on the state of same-sex marriage in the United States, Chile’s civil union legislation (AVP) proposal, and his optimism for marriage equality in Chile.
“Human beings are not perfect,” said Mr. Carter, “but are equal before the law.”
