Arent Fox Privacy, Cybersecurity & Data Protection Senior Associate Eva Pulliam will be moderating the panel, “Privacy and Technology: Are Predictive Analytics Creating Biased Outcomes?” on Thursday, February 21, 2019 as part of the Coalition of Black Excellence (CBE) 2019 Summit during CBE Week, the group’s signature annual event.

The panel will explore how predictive analytics is reshaping data usage across sectors and becoming central in corporate decision making and business development, how predictive analytics impact the Black community, and look at ways to proactively ensure that big data tools positively impact communities of color.

 

The Coalition of Black Excellence works to unify and elevate African American business professionals and community members through networking, educational programming, and volunteer activities. Their signature annual event, CBE Week, attracts hundreds of attendees to panel discussions, a parade, and a gala that educates, celebrates, and uplifts the Black community.
