University of Minnesota’s US-China Relations S.T.E.M. Community Outreach Event

The event is designed to educate Twin Cities S.T.E.M. professionals, academics, and students on potential national security and economic espionage threats emerging from economic relations between the US and China. Through an exploration of how such threats could lead to racial profiling of Asians and Asian Pacific Americans, the event will focus on ways to ensure that racial bias does not shape how the US approaches national security concerns. Peter will offer insight from his work defending scientists, individuals, and companies in white collar criminal matters involving trade secret theft, economic espionage, and espionage-related offenses.
