Inaugural Advisory Board Meeting of Center for International Business & Human Rights

On February 27, the Center for International Business & Human Rights at the University of Oklahoma College of Law held the inaugural meeting of its Advisory Board.

The Center provides expertise and conducts cutting-edge research with the aim of positively influencing contemporary international business and human rights issues, with a particular focus on the information and communications technology and energy sectors. The Center, headed by leading human rights expert, Professor Evelyn Aswad, is the first of its kind at a US law school. 

The Center’s Advisory Board consists of leading representatives from information and communications technology and energy companies, civil society, law firms, government, and international organizations. Partner Lee Caplan, who heads Arent Fox’s Corporate Social Responsibility group, serves as an Advisor to the Center.
