DOT Calls for Comment Cards on Automated Vehicle Policy

This is one survey request you might want to open. This week, the US Department of Transportation published several notices for public comment involving automated cars, trucks, buses, and light rail.

The agency is asking for diverse stakeholders in the transportation industry to “identify barriers to innovation and shape initiatives” before the rollout of the “Federal Automated Vehicle Policy” or “A Vision for Safety 3.0.” Requests for comment on related topics were also published by the Federal Highway Administration, Federal Transit Administration, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Looks like the feds are definitely pro-New Year’s resolutions.
